What happiness means to you?

"Happiness is always a by-product. It is probably a matter of temperament, and for anything I know it may be glandular. But it is not something that can be demanded from life, and if you are not happy you had better stop worrying about it and see what treasures you can pluck from your own brand of unhappiness." -Robertson Davies

The sweet job

We spend a lot to fulfill our hobbies. Be it in terms of time or money. How'd you react if paid for doing your favourite activities? Recall your childhood. Toys, chocolates and gifts from all the elders, everytime. Nothing would be better if you get paid for doing what you just wish. Say it, Kismat Connection, isn't it? Harry Willsher, a Brit boy, has got a sweet-sweet job. A job to taste the sweet recipes. Have a look on a report by The Sun:

"Harry, from Billericay, Essex, said: “On my first visit it was like I was inside Willy Wonka’s factory, especially when I saw the Rainbow Drops machine, which pops out lots of brightly coloured sweets. “This is my dream job. I just hope I can do it when I grow up too. “I’ll taste new sweets every three months but I’m not allowed to tell anyone what they are.”

I've witnessed the expresion of joy on the face of my cousin when he was selected in an audition a decade ago. He was selected for the job of announcer at a railway junction, but set it a side to contue his study uninterrupted.

Mind the public place for Yoga too

Have you ever think, a yogic practice may lead to jails. A Mumbai doc is found victim of the same. However, it's late, when the truth revealed during investigation.

Mumbai Mirror states, "During investigations it was discovered that Dr Amlemat is a Baba Ramdev follower and was practising nakhun gharshan (rubbing the nails of both hands against each other, a technique to prevent premature greying, made popular by Ramdev) which the young woman misconstrued as a sexual overture. "

"On February 13, a well-respected gynaecologist from Malabar Hill, 72-year-old Dr Ranjan Vinayak Laud, and his friend Dr Ratnesh Amlemat, 57, were arrested for allegedly molesting a woman near Metro Cinema, adds the paper.

The abs' shield

The six pack abs are always a day dream for couch potatoes (don't mean it literally, all those who daily plan to go for a work out, but to no avail). Not only youngsters, but, several 40 plus persons have joined gym after witnessing the Khans (Shahrukh, Aamir & Salman). The sculpted abs are not only a matter of look, but a protective shield to the precious life. "Woman survives terrifying paragliding fall... thanks to her rock hard stomach muscles," reports Daily Mail.
The paper adds, "Fitness fanatic Peggy Williams, 47, dropped from the sky and onto a rocky outcrop after a freak gust of wind caught the fabric wing of her paraglider. She was catapulted through the air like a 'rag doll' before plummeting 20ft face down onto her stomach. The rocks tore her liver and nearly severed her pancreas following the accident in Andulasia, Spain. But her life was saved by a daily diet of sit ups and her 'abs of steel', which acted like a 'girdle' to protect her other vital organs."

If you're greedy, sure, you'll lose. But, the phenomenon has been changed. If you're greedy you'll gain. Really, you'll gain physically, the body weight.

A report published in The Times of India says, "Greed, not laziness, is to be blamed for the soaring obesity rates throughout the developed world, says a WHO study."
