Corporators maange more...

PROLOGUE : Some of BMC's Ward Committee chairmen feel that travelling in the same brand of car being used by the junior civic officials is below standard for them.
The corporators now want an upgrade. Their argument? Not only do they represent their own constituency, they are the face of the entire ward, and cannot be seen using the same brands as lower rung officials.
EPILOGUE : What is the point of giving us small cars? When officers travel in fancy SUVs why should we get old, inexpensive cars? I might as well use my own car.” says Kamalakar Naik, Sena corporator and chairman of L ward representing 15 councillor wards. Incidentally, he owns four cars - Prado, Getz, Swift and Qualis.
