PROLOGUE : In a new research, scientists have found that plant foods, known for containing 'phytonutrient' chemicals may not be beneficial as belived:
But the most popular varieties may not be the best, according to U.S. researchers.Scientists analysed data from U.S. health surveys of people's dietary habits to examine sources of phytonutrients. They found that for ten of the 14 phytonutrients studied, a single food type accounted for two-thirds or more of an individual's consumption.
