Botox, usually known as anti-wrinkle drug, is used for cosmetic purposes. Botox (Botulinum Toxin) the anti-ageing treatment much popular among Hollywood celebrities, actually blocks the nerve signals which ask muscles to contract.

In a miraculous impact, it has facilitated a person, compelled to be on wheel chair following a paralytic attack, to walk again. Russell McPhee, 49, the Australian stroke victim is now able to move on his feet after a long period of 20 years.

It is sold commercially under the brand names Botox, BTXA, Dysport, Myobloc, Neurobloc and Xeomin for this purpose. Botox Cosmetic and Vistabel are available for cosmetic treatment. [Wikipedia]
